使用光碟映像檔編輯軟體，刪除 Windows 7 RTM ISO 中的 sources\ei.cfg。執行 setup.exe 安裝，可供選擇的安裝版本共 5 個：Windows 7 Starter、Windows 7 Home Basic、Windows 7 Home Premium、Windows 7 Professional、Windows 7 Ultimate。
偶選的是 Windows 7 Home Premium，這版是將在台灣能夠買到的最低階版本。
