下載 Opera 免安裝綠色便攜版（Windows）
其實是 Opera for USB，清爽的做法是下載英文版，然後下載正體中文語言檔案。有了這個，以後重灌 Windows 都不必再重灌 Opera，瀏覽器儲存的個人設定和個人資料都會保留。
以當前 9.64 版本為例：將英文版 opera964en.zip 解壓縮得到資料夾 opera964en，將正體中文語言檔案 ouw960_zh-tw.lng 複製到 opera964en。

轉移 Opera 的個人設定至新重灌的 Windows
新灌的 Vista 中直接執行之前作業系統已經灌好的 Opera.exe，然後將 Opera 關閉。這一步是為了將 Vista 中 Opera 個人設定資料夾 profile 的路徑給建立出來。

查看 Opera 密碼魔杖中的密碼
Opera 瀏覽器本身不具備查看已儲存之網站密碼的功能，使用者名稱與密碼是以加密的方式儲存在個人設定檔資料夾中的檔案 wand.dat 中。Opera 的個人設定檔資料夾通常位於
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile
查看密碼魔杖中的密碼，只能從 wand.dat 這個檔案入手。這個檔案是加密的，需要將其解密才能查看密碼。為此使用工具 opera wand.dat passwords retrieve utility。

使用 IE6 和 Firefox3 儲存網頁會無法保存 list-style-image 中的圖像
若網頁的 CSS 中有定義 ol 或 ul 的 list-style-image，則使用 IE6 和 Firefox3 儲存網頁會無法保存 list-style-image 中的圖像。
例如以下 CSS 原始碼，在網頁儲存後其 _files 資料夾中並無檔案 bullet.gif
ol,ul {
list-style-image: url(bullet.gif)
}
經測試使用 Opera 9.63 儲存網頁可以正確保存 list-style-image 中的圖像。
